The Sharjah Investors Services Center (SAEED) has established a new branch in the Sharjah Research, Technology, and Innovation Park (SRTIP).

By taking this action, the emirate hopes to strengthen the gains from its 44 percent increase in foreign direct investment (FDI) in 2024.

Additionally, the expansion aims to improve the emirate's standing as a major international economic center, draw in more investment, and simplify business setup.

The event's main focus was SAEED's 2024 journey, which includes helping more than 100 entrepreneurs, helping more than 100 new businesses register, and offering aftercare services to more than 2,500 investors and companies. The center has greatly increased administrative efficiency by reducing transaction completion times by 25 percent through the use of cutting-edge and creative technologies.

Hamad Al Shamsi, Manager of the SAEED Center, stated that since its inception, the center has gained trust and credibility among business owners and investors by providing a conducive environment for success, which is closely aligned with Sharjah's overall economic development goals.

He stated that the new branch at SRTIP was motivated by its strategic convenience and ideal location, which is located between Sharjah International Airport, University City, and the emirate's free zones, making it easily accessible to entrepreneurs.

Al Shamsi added, "Investor and business service centers are integral in modern economies, and entrepreneurs require easy access to reliable market data to understand trends and identify opportunities. These centers also facilitate connections with businesses, institutions, and relevant government entities, thereby promoting business growth".

According to the statement, the opening of the new branch coincides with Sharjah's economic expansion and notable growth in the emirate's various sectors. In 2024, the emirate's free zones attracted over 1,600 companies from around the world, fueling a growing demand for specialized services to help entrepreneurs and businesses.
