Parkin Releases a New App for a Smooth Parking Experience in Dubai

Parkin Company, Dubai's largest provider of paid public parking facilities and services, has launched a new mobile app to improve the parking experience for residents and visitors throughout the city.

The app includes a variety of features aimed at simplifying parking management, increasing accessibility, and promoting efficient urban mobility.

Customers can register in three ways: by creating an account, using UAE Pass, an RTA account, or the Parkin registration form.

Customers who have logged in can pay for public parking (including multi-story car parks) and developer parking. The app also includes wallet management for top-ups, vehicle management, and seasonal subscription services for added convenience.

The app's advanced search feature makes it simple for users to find on-street and off-street parking options with real-time availability, while its clustering feature, a real-time parking finder, helps users locate available parking spaces quickly.

A PayLater option allows for deferred payments, while dynamic auto-renewal ensures consistent service and a simple parking fee payment experience. Users can also schedule parking ahead of time and save it to their calendar for future reference. The app also integrates parking permits into device wallets, consolidating all parking-related information for easy access.

Customers can easily pay for parking with the AutoPay feature, which eliminates the need for physical tickets, payment machines, or manual transactions. It uses automatic number-plate recognition (ANPR) technology to detect vehicles upon entry and exit, linking the plate number to the user's registered payment method for automatic fee deduction.

This frictionless system is available at Parkin-operated multi-story car parks (MSCPs) and, thanks to Parkin's partnership with Majid Al Futtaim, has expanded to malls such as Mall of the Emirates and Deira City Centre, allowing drivers to enter and exit without stopping at barriers, resulting in a smooth and efficient parking experience.

Customers can use the app to get detailed information about available amenities, reserve parking spaces, and extend their tickets, improving their overall parking experience.

Future app updates will include value-added services like EV charging.Customers will be able to pay for EV charging and parking in a single, seamless transaction using Parkin's app and a digital wallet.

The app will also include ENOC's car care and maintenance services, such as car washing, mobile refueling, engine oil changes, tire checks, battery inspections, and other essential maintenance services, which are conveniently available at select Parkin locations.

Customers will be able to schedule automotive services using either platform due to the partnership, which will combine the companies' individual digital wallets and mobile apps. With features like booking management tools, real-time status updates, and safe in-app payment options, this integration will offer a cohesive and intuitive digital experience.
